Farnley Ride

One of the joys of horse riding is exploring acres of countryside, roaming through woodland and cantering across open grassland.

At Farnley Ride, you’ll discover all of this and more. Set in some of Yorkshire’s most beautiful countryside, the 6-mile off-road horse riding course, which starts from Field Lane is designed to suit all abilities, from absolute beginner to the more advanced horse rider.

For the more adventurous, our course offers 65 optional jumps, which vary in size from small logs to 1m bold cross country fences. The route of the farm ride is defined by a system of red and white flags. Remember to keep the red flag on your right and you can’t go wrong.

Our riding experience is also one of the few horse ride courses in the Yorkshire region that is entirely off-road. All you need is your horse, suitable safety equipment and a sense of adventure!

We ask that you respect other riders and follow our code of conduct.
